It would be a little overwhelming in the beginning and you would need to have a lot of considerations and measurements to make. First of all, you would need a business plan to work with so you have an idea of what you are doing and what you have to plan out ahead for the future activities. Decide on a location for your book store that most of the people won’t make use of. It should be somewhere well populated and grown because people would ultimately be attracted to your store if there is a crowded neighborhood nearby. You wouldn’t have to worry about diverting many consumers for a while. Then you would have to think about the kind of book store you want to open. You would either want to go with the open type of business where there are multiple kinds of books available or open a particular one with a niche such as Christian book stores or a craft book store that has a targeted variety of people coming in.
You would have to choose the atmosphere and surrounding for the book store in order to be competent and professional with all the others as well. You can make it a book store with a café or set up a library along with the store so it would be able to function in a better manner. You could also start things like book and poetry clubs to engage people in your store as well.
